The value of Natural Seaweed Products in a Healthy Diet.
When we think of the sea, we think of health, invigoration, cleansing, and rejuvenation. The feeling of being alive and yet peacefully calm. The birthplace of life on Earth. Interestingly, sea vegetables (phytoplankton) can transform your health, tapping into the ancestral and restorative source of all life: the ocean. Water is the very source of life and seen as sacred in the past because without water there is no life.
Life’s watery beginning continues to be present in
all living processes, plant, fish, birds and animal alike.
Imbalances in water can cause illnesses including nervous problems, phobias, depression, lethargy, circulatory conditions, such as low or high blood pressure, arthritis and other diseases of the joints and certain digestive ailments. Different, water related physical ailments in both humans and their companion animals can be resolved with the simple addition of seaweeds to their respective diets. No surprise because the composition of human plasma, or fluid surrounding cell membranes, is similar to that of sea water. The blood can be replaced with seawater and has been part of a cure as used in the past. While transient sub-optimal nutrition may be forgiven, a constant diet lacking in these micro nutrients will adversely affect every function, structure, and detoxification functions of the human cells, our metabolism will suffer, leading to diseases. (e.g.Iodine) That is one of the reasons why it is good to use food grown in the sea like fish, shellfish and seaweed. Seaweeds and seaweed supplements offer
food ingredients like dietary fiber, minerals, trace elements, protein and
lipids. Stimulating many different kinds of biological activities, and a high antioxidant
capacity. Low in calories but despite that an abundant source of many different
nutrients and dietary fiber. The diverse chemical composition of dietary fiber
or the polysaccharides resulting in health benefit effects.
The lipid contents is
low but the polyunsaturated fatty acid contents are high. It contains all the essential amino acids at
levels comparable to FAO/WHO requirements.
The Use of Seaweed & Algae as Nutritional Supplement.
Increasingly algae and seaweed are used in food or diet because of the great variety of nutrients present which are now regarded as essential for human health.
Prevention or development of Chronic Diseases.

Iodine in bread.
Iodine was used as a dough conditioner in making bread, and each slice of bread contained 0.14 mg of iodine. In 1980, bread makers started using bromide as a conditioner instead, which competes with iodine for absorption into the thyroid gland and other tissues in the body. Iodine is essential for the body of humans and other animals and is detected in every organ and tissue. It is found in high levels in the thyroid, breast, liver, lung, heart, and adrenals. New cases of cancer in Ireland could rocket 72% by 2030, health experts have warned.
Ireland has topped a list of 27 countries in the European Union with cases of cancer predicted to rise from 19,454 in 2008 to 33,416 in 18 years.
The league table was compiled by the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) and publicised on World Cancer Day.
The European-wide increase in figures, sourced from the World Health Organisation, are based on population changes. "Population is growing and also ageing, so you are going to have a high portion of an age group in which cancer is prevalent," Mr Wilks said.
Ireland is expected to see a 91% hike in cancer cases among the over-65s. WCRF. Dr Rachel Thompson said the most common cancers among high-income countries can be easily avoided with healthier lifestyles.
Eastern European countries have been predicted to have the least significant increases in cancer. Bulgaria is likely to fare the best, with an increase of just 2.2%, followed by Latvia at 8.8%.
An other study has found almost half of all deaths in Ireland in 2011 were caused by cancer alone. Breast cancer was the most prevalent, followed by prostate and colon cancers. The UK ranks 16th on the cancer growth list, where cases of the illness are expected to rise by 30%.
There is a big difference in uptake of Iodine/Selenium in the countries who do use a lot of seaweed like Japan and other who do not.
Different diets lead to different diseases and have effects on vitality and ageing. The understanding how dietary habits of different groups of people related to their degree of health important. Both clinical research and epidemiological studies, which compare the rates of diseases in populations with different dietary habits, point to Japan’s low rate of hart failure, obesity, breast cancer and healthy ageing ...

Introduction or journey into sea/seaweed world.
As many people and cultures have realized over the centuries, vegetable products from the sea can help you to live both better and longer. Our products won’t reverse the aging process, but they can certainly help slow it down! Why? Because people have the potential to grow old in good health. It makes perfectly sense to reconnect with the past, to embed ancient knowledge and tradition in daily routine. Use present and past to help shape the future. Research has shown that cutting calorie intake, while maintaining vitamins, minerals and trace elements, and other essential nutrients can prolong life by up to 40 percent. It is thought to slash the risk of cancer, diabetes and stoke, while staving of age related degeneration of the brain and nervous system. Tradition has it, that periodic fasting and cleansing as promoted by the main religions have a similar effect. The use of low caloric food, rich in fiber, minerals, vitamins and other essential nutrients, seaweed and other products of the sea, watery type fruits enhance the ability to support and strengthen these processes.
The protective effects of polyanionic
substances or polysaccharides on the reproduction of herpes simplex virus (HSV)
and other viruses were reported almost four decades ago.
Since 1988, the activity spectrum of
the sulfated polysaccharides has been shown to extend to different viruses,
including viruses that emerge as opportunistic pathogens , herpes simplex
virus, and cytomegalovirus in
immunosuppressed (e.g., AIDS) patients.
As potential and new anti-HIV drug candidate is sulfated
polysaccharide and offers a number of promising features. They are able to block
the reproduction or grows of HIV
replication in cell culture at concentrations as low as 0.1 to 0.01 microgram
ml-1 without toxicity to the host cells at concentrations up to 2.5 mg
ml-1. In addition Sulfated
polysaccharides may act synergistically with other anti-HIV drugs like azidothymidine [AZT]). Slow growth as
far as virus-drug resistance development and they show activity against HIV
mutants that have become resistant to reverse transcriptase inhibitors, such as
AZT, tetrahydro-imidazo [4,5,l-jk] [1,4]-benzodiazepin-2(1H)-thione (TIBO) and
others. It is important to
consider not only treatment of patients who are already infected with HIV, but
also the prophylaxis and protection from HIV and/or other major virus infections. (
Prevention) Because sexual transmission is responsible for the majority of HIV
infections worldwide; this transfor is mediated via cells
that infect epithelial cells of the genital tract; and because these polysulfates effectively inhibit
cell-cell adhesion, polysulfates can be potentially effective in a vaginal formulation to protect against HIV infection
Studies done on mice indicate
that vaginal formulations of the sulfated polysaccharide carrageenan are highly
effective in protecting mice from herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2)
infection. Test formulations were placed in the vaginas of progestin-treated
mice prior to inoculation with HSV-2. Infection was determined by the presence
of inflammation in the genital region and death. At a dose of virus that
infected half of the control animals, 1% solutions of either lambda, kappa, or
iota carrageenan prevented infection of almost all of the animals.
Concentrations as low as 0.05% protected a large majority of the mice. At a
dose of virus that infected all of the control mice, 1% solutions of
carrageenans protected 85% of the inoculated mice.
However other sulfated
polysaccharides were less effective or showed no efficacy in preventing HSV-2
Vegetables & Seaweed.
The Japanese are among the greatest consumers of seaweeds, and many seaweed or sea vegetable varieties are best known by Japanese and Chinese names. The sea or the marine environment is known as a rich source for chemical structures with numerous beneficial health effects. New studies have provided more insight into biological activities and neuro-protective effects of marine algae including antioxidant, anti-neuro-inflammatory, cholinesterase inhibitory activity and the inhibition of neuronal death.
The marine seaweed and algae are now identified as an under-exploited plant resource, despite the fact that they have long been recognized and used in the past as a very valuable sources of structurally diverse bio active compounds. Hence, marine algae have great potential to be used for neuro-protection as part of pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and as functional foods.
Use of seaweed is based on historical or cultural traditions and as such used as a medicine, seen by some now as a form of complementary and alternative medicine. As such base themselves or incorporated on traditional medicine, folk knowledge, spiritual beliefs.
Common characteristics it has with other healing method is including a focus on individualizing treatments, treating the person as a whole, promoting self-care and self-healing, recognizing the spiritual nature of each individual and his or her place in nature.
Called "alternative" because they don't fit into the mainstream, excepting that everything you do--from what you eat to what you drink to how stressed you are--affects your health and well-being. Healthy people use these kinds of therapies to try to make their immune systems stronger (prevention) and to make themselves feel better in general.
Seaweed the Most Important Food on Planet Earth, a Gift of the Sea.
Land plants require a rigid structure to withstand the constant pull of gravity, which marine plants do not need. Instead, they do need a flexible structure to accommodate the varying stresses as result of currents and wave motion. Seaweed and algae have, unlike their earthly cousins, no roots, leaves, or vascular systems. They nourish themselves through osmosis, attracting gases and nutrients dissolved in the watery environment that is their home.
Because of the lack of a vascular system, the minerals/nutrients in seaweeds are in colloidal form, able to retain their molecular identity in liquid suspension. The micronutrients and electrolytes in seaweed are bio available, in a form that human cells need to mesh with their metabolisms. Not surprising really, because the composition of human blood plasma, or fluid surrounding cell membranes, is similar to that of seawater.
Seaweeds do need light to grow.
Seaweed is a Photosynthetic organism, relying on a variety of pigments to capture light energy from the sun.
The deeper seaweed and algae live, the darker their color will become. Long wavelengths (red and infrared) are absorbed in the top meters of water, the very short wavelengths (ultraviolet) of the light can penetrate much deeper, and below 20 m it is mainly blue-green. Differences in color mean different chemical compositions.
A seaweed or algae cell to be seen as a mini (micro) chemical manufacturing plant, must be able to produce and contain an amazing wealth of chemical components: more than 60 different sometimes highly complex and active marine substances. This is the only link we know of able to realize the organic substance synthesis from mineral elements. The major minerals are instrumental in all kinds of life-sustaining activities in your body. Most enzymatic functions depend on minute amounts of these bio-available trace minerals.
Additionally, negatively charged minerals can help increase the transport and bioavailability of other food nutrients and supplements as well. In addition, there is food storage of starch and oil (bio-energy) and finally the poly-saccharide being part of the cell wall structure or fiber. Used in food structuring, cosmetics, health care, they also have many industrial applications.
Polysaccharides possess reasonable physical properties, can be modified and changed at room and body temperature, and the changes reversed using ionic, electrolytic, or chemically, enzymes and bacteria.
Most important and best known are; Alginates, Cyclodextrins, Glycosaminoglycans, Inulins, Pullulans, Carrageenans, Heparins, Konjacs, Dextrans, Haaluronates, Locust, Tragacanth, Chitins & Chitosans, beta-Glucans, Guarans, Pectins, fucoidans and Xanthan, , which are
widely used in the food and pharmaceutical industry because of there
properties. There is no question any more about the real value of seaweed
polysaccharide as an important source of bioactive natural compounds, for
their beneficial or physiological effects within the human body well proven. Now
significant attention has been put on the use of algae and seaweed in food or
diet and the great variety of nutrients present that are essential for human
health. Their ability to be partly fermented by the human colonic micro biota
resulted in health benefit effects, the other non digestible part as growth
medium for many beneficial micro organism themselves. Especially, the sulfate polysaccharides are now known for and
exhibit immunomodulatory, antitumor, antithrombotic, anticoagulant,
anti-mutagenic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antiviral activities
including anti-HIV infection, herpes, and hepatitis viruses.
Polysaccharides possess reasonable physical properties, can be modified and changed at room & body temperature and the changes reversed using ionic, electrolytic or chemically, enzymes and bacteria. Their structure allows them to become water soluble or changing to not. Chemical reactions taking place at low (body) temperature of paramount importance and as such the main building blocks used with the body chemistry. Iodine the molecular knives to open up, cut and needed to change the structures.Table below to be used as indication.
Color, (photosynthetic pigments), food storage and Cell Wall components.
Unbelievable, Seaweed contains neither roots nor blood vessels, feeding directly from the seawater through the plant (Cells) surface. It is able to taking full advantage of all the nutrients present in the sea without having to undergo any complex transformations.
Cell Wall components
Chlorophyta (green algae)
chlorophylls a and b, carotenoids
Polysaccharides or cellulose
Phaeophyta (brown algae)
chlorophylls a and c, carotenoids including fucoxanthin
Laminarin and oils
Cellulose and algin
Rhodophyta (red algae)
chlorophyll a and d, carotenoids, phycobilins
Cellulose, pectin compounds, impregnated with calcium carbonate in some species
Fibre or cell wall components present in seaweed.
Seaweed itself constitutes a source of dietary fiber that differs chemically and physically from those of land plants and induces different physiological effects. Referenced data indicates that algal dietary fiber may show important functional activities, such as antioxidant, anti-mutagen and anticoagulant effect, anti-tumor activity, and an important role in the modification of lipid metabolism in the human body. An increase in their consumption would elevate the foods offered to the population.
History of cancer.
There is nothing in the natural environment that can cause cancer.
In industrialised societies cancer is second only to cardiovascular disease as a cause of death, said Prof Rosalie David at the University of Manchester. Prof David and a colleague, Prof Michael Zimmerman looked for evidence of cancers in mummified bodies from Egypt and South America going back up to 3000 years. There conclusion that cancer is a man-made (by man, for men) disease and it was not until the 17th century that they found descriptions of breast and other cancers. Researchers showed that rates of the disease have been risen dramatically since the industrial Revolution, in particular childhood cancer,-apparently proving that the increase is not simply due to people living longer.
The four most common causes of ill health and premature death in Western affluent nations are, cancer, heart disease, stroke and Alzheimer’s disease, a form of dementia. They are all related to a bad diet, lifestyle and pollution..
Use of seakelp and seaweed as medicine.
Many physical ailments in both humans and their companion animals can be regularly resolved with the simple addition of a little seaweed to their respective diets. However you have to act in the here and now to reap the benefits later. People consider themselves healthy unless they are ill or overweight, a kind of borderline health. Optimum health is more. For optimum health you need to achieve vitality, mental clarity, and improved digestion. Most of us need to consider weight loss as a reduced risk for development of serious diseases.
Another important fact is that all life started in the oceans (water), our common origin. Life’s watery beginning continues to be present in all living processes, plant, fish, birds and animal alike. Seawater has almost the same proportion of minerals as the human blood. Seaweed is a universal type of food and plants, fish, birds, and animals can benefit from its use.
Optimum health: studies show that the ideal blood chemistry is slightly alkaline. Unfortunately, most people are overly acidic due to poor diet. The good news is that you can achieve a more alkaline pH using small amounts of seaweed. To determine your pH level, you can purchase a pH test at your local health food store. The ideal is a neutral score of 6.8 to 7.1. Anything below 7 is acidic, above 7 alkaline. Use your saliva or urine: the test is relatively easy and accurate.
Applications include: alternative health, alternative medicine, health foods, health products, dietary supplements, nutrition, minerals and vitamins, pet food, cosmetics, bath, drinks, fertilizer, bio fuel, etc.
The “folk medicine” in coastal zones made extensive use of a variety of seaweed species. Knowledge of the tonic and healing powers of seaweed was passed down among coastal peoples from generation to generation because the mineral content of sea vegetables is extraordinary, and is seen as the root of most of their healing properties. Seaweed has been part of the traditional diet of all coastal cultures, like Japan and China, Hawaii, Wales, Scotland, Iceland, and Ireland. With advances in medicine today, the reasons behind the success of some of these treatments are being elucidated, because we now understand more of the nutritional and biochemical properties of different seaweeds or algae.
We all need a little bit of seaweed or sea kelp. Regular, long-term dietary inclusion is reputed to help regulate metabolism and energy, stimulate the immune system, soothe the digestive tract, cleanse the blood, protect against bacterial and viral infection, maintain healthy cellular function, and support the proper functioning of the endocrine glands, especially the thyroid.
Whole food; vegetables, fruit, spice and herbs.
For the first 8000 years of civilization, humans relied on foods and herbs for medicine. It is only in the past 70 years that we have forgotten our medicinal "roots" in favor of patent medicines. While pharmaceuticals have their value, we should not forget the well-documented, non-toxic and inexpensive healing properties of whole foods.
Our seaweed products are harvested by hand in the Beara Peninsula from the clear, pristine Atlantic Ocean off Ireland’s southwest coast. They are completely natural and from a renewable resource, without additives, free from toxins and environmentally friendly. We are a small business, not a big corporation, and we first try everything we produce ourselves.
Most of the seaweed is sold in dehydrated form, as flakes, leaves, granules, sheets, or powder. Easy to use and to store. Use for soups, salads, various dishes, casseroles, stew, or stir-fried with veggies. It may also be eaten with cereals and grains like rice, bread, and pasta. We can call upon other harvesters in case we do not have an item you want: see list.
Sea vegetables are virtually fat-free, low calorie and one of the richest sources of minerals and fiber in the vegetable kingdom. They have ready access to the abundance of minerals found in the ocean. Coastal peoples all over the world have prized seaweed as a source of valuable nutrients, primarily minerals, for eons. Ancient tradition: the power of the Earth (plants) to be combined with products of the sea (flexibility), key to a long and healthy life.
What is the most important food on Planet Earth? A gift from the sea. Such nutrition is necessary for our journey to optimal health and wellness. Additionally, negatively charged minerals can help increase the transport and bio-availability of other foods and supplements.
Seaweed or algae can help to build and sustain the broad nutritional balance of vitamins, minerals, and vital nutrients on which optimum health and vitality depends. Seaweed is important in any diet.
The use of depleted soil/pesticides and herbicides (modern farming) and food processing worsens the imbalance. In fact, seaweed contains 10 to 20 times the amount of minerals, trace elements, and vitamins than found in commercially grown land vegetables. Gram for gram, they are higher in vitamins and minerals than any other class of food. In addition, they have outstanding nutritional profiles. Essential fatty acids, nucleic acids like RNA and DNA, and phyto-chemicals as carotenoids. Recommended use 2 gram (1DR)/day.
• 10-40 % minerals, Ca, Cl, K, Na, P, Mg, Fe
• Oligo-éléments Zn, Cu, Mn, I, Se,Mo, Cr
• 20-45% protein with a good amino acid profile
• Vitamins beta-carotene (pro-vitamin A), some vitamins ofthe B complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, & Folic acid. E and K
• Up to 40% Soluble fiber (agar, carrageenan, &alginate )
• 10-25% carbohydrate (sugars & sugar alcohols)
• 3-9 %Insoluble fiber: cellulose, xylans & others.
• 1-4% fat
• less than 10% water
• 2 % in Lipids, (high in PUFA)
Seaweed is used to help to build and sustain the broad nutritional balance of vitamins, minerals, and vital nutrients on which optimum health and vitality depend. They are low-calorie foods, with a high concentration of minerals, vitamins, proteins (digestible and indigestible), carbohydrates, and lipids.
Sea plants are regarded as more potent than land plants because they contain a great number of organic compounds known as phyto (plant) chemicals. Many of these organic compounds are necessary, but missing in our modern food supply. This mineral content of seaweed, vegetables, and fiber is extraordinary, and lies at the root of many of their reputed healing properties. The major minerals are instrumental in all kinds of life-sustaining activities in your body. Although therapeutic seaweed constituents can be extracted and are available and used in cases of chronic conditions, it is easier and cheaper to use whole seaweeds, not extracts. Use the seaweed uncooked if possible.
Health, Spirituality and Human Consciousness.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Our Bodies and Our Selves Reflect the Natural World
Think of a world dominated by waves or vibrations, the universe connected by an underlying fluctuating energy field, a sea of energy connecting everything and anything, and different from the world view propagated by science, politics, and the establishment.
Here you never act alone. All of our actions affect others and at the end of the day, or at the end of our life, the only thing any of us really “has” is our effect upon others.
How we treat others determines how others treat us.
How others treat us influences how we see ourselves.
How we see ourselves determines who we are and essential.
People need to be seen as indivisible from their environment. Consciousness represents the greatest form of order known to nature, and this order helps us shape and create order in the world. The living consciousness is a blueprint and building block, not an isolated entity. The consciousness has the power to heal us, to heal the world, to shape it to be as we wish it to be. Reality is created by each of us only by our attention, at the lowest level in our minds and matter, where each of us creates the world. We have the ability to extend our own coherence out into our environment, simply by the act of wishing to create order.
Communication between Cells, the body and universe.
each molecule has his own resonance frequency and can tune in and connect in
that way with other similar molecules. (wave). The vibrations of one molecule
cases another one to vibrate to or tune in, (resonance) creating a cascade of
electromechanical impulses which travel at the near speed of light. They are
like a multitude of tuning forks that all begin resonating together. As the
waves get into phase or synch, they begin acting as one, one giant wave and as
a gigantic subatomic particle. Something effecting one will effect all, working
together but made-up of individual parts. When you are listening it is
difficult to pick one out.
specific molecules and intermolecular bonds emit at certain specific
frequencies which can be detected light years away, not just cellular
information but all. By replacing a mineral within a protein with another will
lead to different properties and oscillating properties of the cells. Seaweed
is a rich source of the mentioned substances and needed minerals and the
optimum the presence of all minerals present on earth.
The brain perceives and records the world and universe essentially as an active participant and able to communicate with everything. This is the interconnection of all beings and things--where we are inseparably woven into the great web of life, matter, and cosmic space--and our only fundamental truth is our relationship with it.
As far as the vibrational alignment is
concerned the chelated substances as present in seaweed can play an
important role. The incorporated organic metals play an important
role and are needed to reach/build a broad spectrum/resonance. However you do not need many because they do connect
internal by resonating (multiply the vibrations.)
natural life leads to a deeper understanding of the inherent interconnectedness
of everything, motivating us to make choices which nourish sustainable relationships.
The thought and lifestyle are essential to be part of
the cosmic rope, yet their best home is not the mind but the hart. Here we connecting through the resonators in the body. When we look or observe the world we do
so on a much deeper level than that it looks. Our brains above all talk to
itself and to the rest of the body and not with words or images or chemical
impulses but in wave interference pattern, the language of phase, amplitude and
Perceiving others, nature and objects,
exchanging information by connecting with the waves/resonating with it
(feeling), getting in synch with it, getting connected. Numerous cells in our system are tuned into certain frequencies. This
explains how we can recognize things as being the same, even when they are
vastly different in sizes or shape.
To use the options of your body to
communicate with the outside world and universe the body has to be in alpha
state, the state when people feel connected or kind of dream world, and include to be able to communicate/feel with animals,
plant, heaven, universe and in which you can grow very old too. (Influence of the time factor
however limited or absent.)
The unborn baby in the woman womb is for
most of his time of existent in alpha mode, able to recieve and send messages using vibration. Not only
connects with the mother but the universe as a whole. In alpha stage little
knowledge of time and limited concept/experience of memory. The so called beta
wave conditions associated with matter, ego and time, represented by what is
called the black soul, when time manifest itself as linear and best described within the Alchemy and become dominant when people learn and age.
The resonance part seen as primary and the resulting body chemistry when the molecule is activated or switched on second in importance, however contrary to the modern view which
put the body chemistry first and resulting mood second.
The vibrations of one molecule causes another one to vibrate to or tune in (resonance), creating a cascade of electromechanical impulses which travel near the speed of light. It explains the speed in which emotions like anger or fear manifest themselves. It is now clear that both specific molecules and intermolecular bonds emit at certain specific frequencies which can be detected far away.
The electromagnetic frequencies used correspond with frequencies in the audio range and lay between 20 hertz and 20 kilohertz. Replacing a mineral within a protein with another will lead to different properties and oscillating properties.
Within Ancient traditions; the power of the earth (plants) to be combined with products of the sea (flexibility) and variation (spices and herbs), digestion, is the key to a long and healthy life. In Okinawaold people did stay healthy and active well after their 100th birthday. This happened without science, healthcare, and food safety.
Here are some pointers, digestion.
The digestive system can/will slow down if not properly stimulated, by chewing less, using soft food, being in a rush, and watching TV. The problems with soft food and bad eating habits are that it might not challenge the digestive system needed to break down fibre and encourage the gut to squeeze it along.
A weak gut can enflame easily from spicy foods, resulting in limits to the variety you can eat, loss of taste, and the enjoyment of good food.
Use a wide variety of food in the diet, both from a nutritional point of view, but also to maintain a healthy interest in food. You must eat enough food to get sufficient minerals and vitamins needed to fight heart disease, stroke, some cancers, obesity, osteoporosis, and arthritis. Malnutrition is one of the big problems in the ageing population.
Spirituality and consciousness are very important too; the main point stressed that life is to be sought by man, not from within himself or in his own power, but from outside, from Him who emphatically is Life. (God, Spirit, Nature, Consciousness). The alternatives are the man-made/ruled society, the development of the city, state, and industrialization, man’s obsession with material goods, and at the end questions about the value of its foundations, what is best for humanity, sharing values, and its longevity.
The Holistic approach.
The laws of nature, the seasons, natural cycles, the interconnectedness and dependency of all living beings.
The concept of natural harmony, however, is missing in modern science. There is no soul and spirit. Despite advanced technology, knowledge and science, modern people are becoming increasingly sick, both physically and mentally, are unhappy and lonely. Problems such as mental stress, anxiety, depression and nervous debility are common. These problems, which relate to the mind, have a very negative impact on a person’s life. These days, most of the threats to your health and wellbeing come from outside (nearly all are man-made): living conditions, stress, malnutrition, pollution (air, water and soil), conflicts, ideology, politics, exploitation, aggression, repression, restrictions, corruption, and war.
Your body is an antenna, and your body can’t receive and comprehend the whole message from Universe unless it contains all the trace elements of the Universe. Neither can it increase sensibility. It is not the amount in weight but the numbers present within the body that are important. To be available within the body of humans and animals, the minerals and trace elements have to be chelated or in colloidal forms, a concept known as “bio-availability.”
Another advantage is, using the more complex salts present in seaweeds, you will have less craving for simple junk food (salt). The craving for salt, despite the fact that most food are heavily salted with sodium chloride, home-cooking, restaurant meals, and preserved foods is a strong indication of potassium deficiency. Potassium is essential for even minimal nerve and muscle functioning, cross-membrane transport, for neurotransmitters, and hormones. Our bodies cannot differentiate between salt (sodium chloride) and the essential potassium chloride. Too much salt (sodium chloride) is not good and should be avoided. Seaweed and algae are Earth’s last unique resort and can help us to reconnect with nature, become whole, satisfied, and healthy again.
Rockweed Tea, Seasonings and Flavoring, and Salt Replacements
Irish Rockweed is an important ingredient by the production of slimming tea. In general, this tea is made from rockweed that has been air- or sun-dried, but it can also be made from fresh seaweed.
Used as flavouring for the vegetarian market, the ground sea vegetables impart a natural seafood dimension to flavour profiles. Kelp is one of the seaweeds used to enhance existing flavours without MSG or other chemicals.
Salt: Seaweed Table Condiment contains between 35-45% of minerals, low in sodium content and high in potassium. These dried pieces of specially prepared wild Seakelp or seaweed-wrack have a subtle, nutty vegetable flavor. Kelps have higher potassium content than other seaweeds.
To take advantage of the healthful—and tasty—benefits of edible seaweeds, have a look at nearby specialty food stores, gourmet shops, Asian markets, or other natural food stores. Looking for something not easily found or locally available? You can order from us. Most edible seaweeds can be obtained year-round from our online store. Seaweed is sold in its dehydrated form and stored in an airtight plastic bags. Sold as: flakes, leaves, granules, sheets, or powder. Low cost shipping, worldwide.
Alkalinize Your Diet for Enhanced Health.
There is no need to try to eliminate acid-forming foods just to achieve optimum health. Balance (buffer) by using seaweed, eating more raw food or other alkaline-type foods. A diet rich in alkalinizing plant foods has been shown to help preserve muscle mass in older men and women. Another cause of acidity in the body is intense exercise.

Health, Lifestyle and Ageing
To live much longer and in full health has been humanity’s oldest dream. Every culture has cherished practices to offer the possibility of immortality or very long life. Mental and spiritual regimes, elixirs, black magic, diets, arcane sexual practices, and science enlisted to hold death at bay. People from the earliest cultures to the present have tried to stop or at least significantly slow the process of bodily deterioration. The Biological immortality most sought after a life of youthful vigor without physical limitations. To provide a kind of biological immortality can only be achieved if started at an early age. However, people who are born healthy can grow very old and remain in good health.
